Toshiba introduced a new notebook Satellite U500-1EX with multi-touch Screen Display. U500-1EX laptop is equipped with 13.3-inch TrueBrite XGA touch screen LCD with a resolution 1280 x 800 pixels to support multitouch. The latest Toshiba laptop runs on Windows 7 Home Premium edition 64-bit version, and has add-on software Microsoft Touch Pack to provide multi-touch sensitive.

Novelty lies in the body as thick as 3 cm and weighs 2.2 kg. At the core of the device powered by processor Intel Core i3-330M with a frequency of 2.14 GHz. It is known that the Satellite U500-1EX has 4 GB of 1,066 MHZ DDR3 RAM expandable upto 8GB with  hard disk storage capacity of 320 GB of free space.
